To enter Mexico through its borders, you need a valid passport and your immigration form which you can obtain free of charge from your airline, travel agency or at the actual point of entry. If you’re a citizen of any other country, you must go to the Mexican Consulate and obtain your tourist visa.

Our trips do not include international flights to and from the destination. You may travel to Southern California or BAJA airports. Tell us where you are flying from and we can help you decide which airport is best for you!

We can arrange personal or group pick ups at the airport or your desired location for an extra fee as it’s not included in the package.

Although our experiences are relatively safe there is always a risk, that is why we strongly suggest to get insurance for the adventure.

World Nomads provides international travelers insurance that can cover medical expenses, lost luggage, missed flights, etc.

Most of the activities we offer are covered by insurance. Please make sure to mention the activity you will be performing to your insurance agent to make sure you are fully covered.

Depending on the trip you have chosen we will suggest a certain spending amount, however we always encourage you to make your own judgement depending on your spending habits. Another thing to take into consideration is that some places do not have ATM access. The official currency in Mexico is Pesos but US Dollars are also accepted.

We offer various secure payment platforms. If you would like hold a specific date and pay later, we accept 25% down of total package amount yet it’s non-refundable.

If you want to travel on your own, couple or small group contact us. Although us a company specialized in the adventures customized and private, also handle some shared adventures. Tell us about your plan and we will find the way of comply your expectation.

Documents: make sure you review the mandatory requirements for entering Mexico as well as the documents required by your own country upon your return.

Based on the adventure you selected we can help you with information such as the weather, seasonal events happening in the region and a backpacking checklist.

Terms & Conditions

These points make up all of the terms of contract between Monkey Business Adventures (“MBA” or “us/we”) and the customer (“customer/you”). Trip or Tours will be mentioned as ‘service’ or ‘adventure’.

All prices are in USD (American Dollars) are inclusive of service and tax. Fees should be paid through the prescribed payment methods on our site. Full payment is required 14 days prior to departure. We may cancel your participation in the adventure if the fee is not paid in full in accordance with these terms.

You may not transfer the adventure to another party. If you are unable to participate in the adventure, the cancellation policy will apply.

You must conduct yourself in an appropriate, decent, lawful, non-aggressive, non-bullying and proper manner, and comply with these terms and any instructions or directions given to you by us or any of our staff, at all times.

We may request you to leave an adventure if in our view your conduct is inappropriate. If we request you to leave an adventure, no refund will be made to you.

You acknowledge and agree that we are unable to control the conduct of you or third parties.

MBA will not be held liable for unforeseen disruptions that are beyond our control (weather, natural disasters, third party service changes, etc). We will always endeavor to assist customers, but encourage all MBA customers to take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy that will cover for unforeseen disruptions, delayed departures, trip cancellations, accident and medical.

Visas: It is the passenger’s responsibility to carry a valid passport and appropriate visas while travelling on any MBA services.

Although our experiences are relatively safe there is always a risk, that is why we strongly suggest to get insurance for the adventure. Travel insurance is not included with MBA services.

MBA will not be held liable for any injury, sickness, accidents and death, medical expenses, personal liability, lost /damaged luggage and personal effects.

On occasion, our staff may take photos or videos for marketing purposes. Customers should advise our staff if you want to be excluded. If you do not, you consent MBA to use / publish those images and videos for marketing purposes.

At MBA we care about your privacy and value the personal information you share with us.

MBA collects personal information necessary to deliver our services, products and information to you or a booking agent on your behalf. This personal information is submitted originally by you at your full permission either directly to MBA or to a booking agent and includes but is not limited to: full name, address, email address, telephone numbers, country, , interests or preferences, passport, insurance and medical information.

We collect this information to provide you with our services and communications regarding MBA products/purchases. Your information is stored on secure databases at secure addresses and protected from unauthorized access. You have the right to request to be removed from all MBA databases at any time.

In case you have any kind of issues regarding the adventure, it’s your responsibility to notify MBA as soon as possible so that we have every reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

If for any reason legal action must be filed as a result of a disagreement, the exclusive venue and jurisdiction will be in México City, México.

Luggage must be limited to one backpack, bag or case per person with a maximum weight of 15 kg. You may also travel with a daypack for camera and valuables. MBA does not take any responsibility for any damage or loss of any property under any circumstance.

All customers must be at least 18 years old or be under the supervision of a legal guardian that is at least 18 years old.

Participation in our adventures may involve physical. Your participation in an adventure will be at your own risk, and you agree to sign a waiver form prior to your participation in any adventure.

We may, at our discretion, accept or reject any booking of an adventure, for any reason.
If we accept your booking, a confirmation email will be sent to you, attaching details of the adventure (Confirmation Email). It is your responsibility to check the booking details provided in the Confirmation Email before paying our invoice.

We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to cancel or reschedule an adventure. We will use our best endeavors to reschedule at an alternate start date that is agreed between MBA and the customer.

The itinerary may be subject to change due to unexpected circumstances or events. If we are unable to offer a particular inclusion in the adventure itinerary due to events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will use our best endeavors to replace it with an inclusion of equal or greater value.

  • 8 or more days before departure: 25% of total cost.
  • 3-7 Days before departure: 50% of total cost.
  • Less than 48 Hours or after departure: 100%. of total cost.
  • Cancellations should be made with your original booking agent who may charge an additional fee.
